Has anybody recently applied for a Schengen Visa, if yes, can you please let me know what you did for the travel insurance. The insurance from my employer (Humana) says they cover international but do not have a letter that states the same and Swedish consulate website says the letter should specifically say "International Coverage".
What are my options. Can you guys suggest where I can buy the insurance from.
Talk to some senior guy in Humana. They have three templates. One of them has International Coverage in it. I had this problem in 2005. I was able to get the letter after talking his supervisor.

We get good money working here and US gets skilled labor for its labor starved hi-tech industry. After all US does invite us to work here by giving us work visa, isn't it. Do you think US will be churning out work visas if they can find sufficient US citizens tech workers? So pal, its all business, nothing personal. You don't have to make snide remarks on your motherland in order to justify your stay in US.

Talk to a lawyer and get it done.
Should take about 1 hour to write the mail. Even for extension it you would take the same time to write.

I sent my EAD extension documents on 7/9 via FedEx to Nebraska. They recvd it on 7/11 morning and got signature proof. Can you please let me know how many days it take for the check to be encashed? This will be helpful. Thanks!!

Kaisersose thank you for your reply. Is their a time limit for how long I have to work for the GC filling employer? what worries me is if they fire me in lets say 1 month after hire during their probation period am I safe? Even though i was working part time some where else.
As you have a GC, you can work for any employer in the range {A, B, C...Z}, work for 2 or more of them simultaneously and handle any kind of job. There is no law that will create a problem out of this during naturalization.
Of course, one can do this with a 485 EAD too, but there is the one restriction of "same or similar".

My docs and signed applications reached attorney last Friday. Paralegal seems to be working on it as he keeps sending questions by email. However, when I asked the forms might be mailed by June 29th, he didn't reply. My feeling -by the questions asked- is that my form are complete. I'm hoping he'll mail it latest by first week of July.

how do you have i 94 for all h1's. i just have my current one. rest all i gave it to immigration while departing to india.

Hi, I am in exactly the same situation. Would just the I-140 receipt number suffice? My employer also hasn't given me any copies of the I-140 and labor certification copies. My I-140 is approved and it's been more than 180 days since I-485 filing..please advise.

12 calendar days. My I 140 was originally applied on 01/08/2007 upgraded to premium on 06/26/2007 there was a RFE ability to pay , reponse for RFE received on 07/26/2007. we called 18663155718 today, the IO officer said my case is approved today. online status still says it's pending.
Unfortunately the premium service on I 140 is not reinstated yet. Note I upgraded before (07/01/2007)it was suspended . Sorry for the confusion

Here is the situation, they already got Australia visa stamped and would like to make a honest visit to US before leaving for Australia, nothing hidden. So how to Convince VO.

I received my EAD last month. But no AP yet. However, i received an email from my lawyer that.....my AP got rejected because the rejection letter is saying that I485 got approved that's why the I131 is rejected.....therefore, my lawyer is waiting for the I485 approval.....
I don't know how to react. The online doesn't have any update about that yet.

Nice job Anders. 2,3,4 and 5 are the best of these I believe. You're exactly right about practice. The more you shoot the better you will get, as you are demonstrating. Patience and alertness are the key as well. When you can't control what's happening, you have to anticipate, and be alert to catch in when it happens. Shooting from the penalty box allows from some great shots. Be alert in there though. The first time I did that a puck whistled by myhead. Thank goodness I ducked and moved my head. Water from the ice was literally on my ear and the puck hit behind me. I would have hit me square in the head.

Something I need to get a grip on is post processing and white balance...
Pucks are scary... A couple of games back it was a bit too hairy for comfort. The arena had plexi everywhere except just next to the players' boxes on the opposite from where I'm used to standing. I talked my way onto a high bench next to one of the teams, and this was apparently the place the defenders tended to clear pucks. :) I had three flying quite close, two of which I saw and could duck, and one I completely missed while looking in the camera. One of the "water girls" with the team told me it hit the wall beside me and bounced out the other side. :o I'm wondering if maybe I should have a helmet on.

In the past , murthy lawyers have also claimed to have successfull MTR cases but that hardly created any awareness among USCIS about the AC21 law that they are not supposed to directly deny AOS if underlying I-140 gets revoked. Although we hope its good news but I doubt that this is going to make any difference to any future AOS applications whose I-140 get denied.
